I buy them From Mark Davies in the UK. I always get good germination from this seller, and decent prices for more seeds. Takes about 3 weeks to get them to the US from there, but worth it.

Exactly the same as you do, but I give them temperature fluctuations of 80F degrees for 5 hours a day, and about 60F the rest of the time. I have good luck using this method, along with the sphagnum...

The sphagnum method works best for me, I recently had 20 or so Musa Itinerans India form, and about 4 out of 10 Musa Thai black seeds germinate. I never had luck in soil. Since I had such good luck...

If you can look in the end of the pups bottom and all you see are rings then it was cut, or broke above the corm, if you see some solid white then part of the corm came with it. I have sprouted roots...

My Bareroot Tall Orinoco just get dropped in a hole dug for them about April 15th here when its frost safe. Takes about 3 weeks to start leafing back out. I dug a Musa Yunnanensis a couple of days...
