Although ... my neighbor Bob (retired Sgt. Major) down the street performs stump removals all the time around here. He has a six-wheel 450 hp commercial crew transport with a tow hitch and a double-naught chain. In first gear stumps come right out without hesitation.

Reminds me of my daughter's friends' dad: on top of the company van, with a ladder leaning on a tree branch he was getting ready to trim off. Well the ladder was past the part he was cutting off! He was getting ready to cut himself and that ladder right off the tree and the van.
BTW, he's a college professor!
