If I had to choose I'd take the Mexican organic over the China "organic" anyday!
I think it's probably true but I don't know how widespread of a problem it is.

China organic reminds me of

I wonder if WF cleaned up their act.

I only have a few people in my Google+ circle, doesn't seem to be catching on and over-taking Facebook. We also use circles in scouts ("circle up").

WOW!!! Less WF and more like WTF!

Several years back, my dad noticed that Giorgio mushrooms at Sam's were no linger a product of the USA, but China, so I sent them an email. The VP of the company called me personally, and he explained there weren't enough mushrooms grown in this country to keep up with demand. Well, demand dropped for Chinese shrooms, and now you cannot get them in gallon cans at Sam's anymore. People quit buying them, and they can't supply enough US-only fungi to meet the gallon demand. That's why I started growing my own last year.

Thanks for the link. I came across it literally 5 minutes before I started recording my show, and I wasn't sure what I was going to talk about this week. This pointed me toward Urban Gardening 101.
