Not all roses have a good smell to them either.. Or smell at all.. That's why I try to spend a couple bucks extra to get the good ones, a true lincoln (red) can flood the whole house after its cut.. :^) plus look nice

Odd, but before the bloom had even fully opened up this morning it had a mild sweet scent, but as the day wore on and the flower opened more, the smell disappeared!

I'm really not too worried though, because Bob tells me it's quite fragrant. This is also the very first bloom, so we'll see when more open...

The plant runs the length of my 2 foot long window sill and grows along side my Jade. There's many buds beginning to grow on all the shoots...
