![]() I’ve had them a few years now and they seem to be very dark when they first come from the nursery, but then lighten up as they age.
At first I thought it was because they got too much shade in the backyard. But I’ve had one in a pot in full sun in the front and that one has lost its deep red color as well, so I’m not sure what is responsible for keeping them red ??? |

![]() This is totally a guess but there are several aquarium red and pink plants that need a regular dose of iron to keep their colors. Maybe this falls into the same category?
