I've come to understanding that people are the same everywhere and there's no need to believe that your country is more than it actually is. The essential element - the people - are the same all over the planet.

Yeah, freezing rain, freezing fog and practically everything that can and does freeze came 2 days ago. It's around 0°C in the morning though, so no frosts so far.

We had 3 days of 70's, and tonight in the mid 20's. Snow Tuesday. Man, I'm tired of winter.

I think that one of the major differences between our climates is that we dont have so large temperature oscilations like U do.

Yes.... Italy should be hit by a cold front in the next week... Southern Italy and Adriatic's regions should suffer the most but even in Rome's surroundings minimum temps should drop to a near zero degrees....

The worst side is that after three weeks of mild temps , plants are growing again and such a change cand do a lot of damage....
Especially to my mood !

I dont know, we will get slight cooldown mid week but nothing unexpecting for this time of year. Here we say something like: If February doesnt bite U, it will hit U with a tail

Yeah, you'r right..... it' not asomething unexpected from Febraury... the uncommon has been in the previous week with very high max temps (over 20°) and minimum between 5 and 10 ° ..... those temps awoke the plants before the time, especially the fruiting ones (lemons , oranges, cherries, 'nanas! ) and they are sprouting new leaves that are in danger to be burned.
It's better to have a constant cold weather thant those upo and downs.....

Harsh frost is predicted for next week here, even -20C/-4F in Tuesday's night.
I have more than 50 rose shrubs in the garden, I am terrified.
