It should, but I REPEAT, don't pour the soap on the roots. Many soaps will cause deformed growth, so only leaves and pstems, no roots!

Nice.

Repeat the dilute soap spraying once or twice a day for 5 days, that should be enough. Then once again another 3 or 4 days with a 3 days pause, for new generation of the larva to come ...
Excellent news about that pup. Ante will be happy. :)

Tissue culturing maybe griphuz. ;)

3 is what I have been keeping. I just removed two water suckers and left 3 swords on one of mine. I'll repot or try to give away any swords I take off but usually toss the water suckers in the trash.

Ante, once your DC or SDC starts producing 20 to 30 pups a month, you will reconsider it very quickly. :D
If someone doesn't want the pups, I usually plant them out in the field with corn, quite close to where I live. It's about 40 small SDC there. If no-one is interested till fall, I think that those bananas are fried. But maybe some will surivive and create a new strain of super cold hardy super dwarf bananas. :D
Just kiddin.
But it's pretty much their faith.

I planted two water suckers. One died after a while. The other has been in the ground for like 10 months and is about 20% bigger. I have a sword pup I may replace that with. I'm letting it get big before I even seperate, the base circumference is probably 5x the size of the one in the ground already.

That arent good new at all :(.
Hope that your wether will be better real soon.
Go and get some real insecticide for that spidermates. Growth season is still long and all your naners can recover fast and prepare for winter.
