Thumbs up Re: Europe Trade

OK my dear European members I have new plants for trades.
Musa Rowe red:

and one DDD pup:

I would like to trade these for taller cultivares as Orionoco or some other Platain.
Lets keep things rolling here, summer is soon to end and colder weather is comming, shipping will not be safe as it is now.
Any interests?
Regards

Agreed, we have 50 days tops until the trades become unsafe here in central, western and northern Europe. I got one SDC from a company here and it came to me in November. Fried. It took 2 weeks of care and special conditions until it started to recover.
You've got one Grand Nain and one Musa basjoo 'Rubra' here Ante, Grand Nain is perfectly ready, but I would give the basjoo a week or 2. So that it gets better. You will be able to grow this basjoo wildly in Makarska and it has incredible easthetics value. Really beautiful. You can maybe cross it in a few years, I don't know many people who have one, inside our outside of Europe. And that's what I call .

To help you guys out of a dream: Musa basjoo 'Red'that is available here in Europe has nothing to do with basjoo, and has no basjoo-blood in it whatsoever. It is just a tropical species and won't even survive an unheated greenhouse.
From my point of view I think some people in some TC lab messed something up, and switched/mislabeled a batch. On progressing of growth someone saw red markings and must
have thought 'hey cool, a red mutant of Musa basjoo, lets try to TC that one even more!'.
I've read (on a German forum I believe) that it is sopposudly Musa rubra (Musa rubra).

Musa rubra looks very different than my Musa basjoo 'Rubra'. I bought it as Red basjoo, Basjoo 'Rubra' was just an official cultivar name.
We'll see, the winter's almost here.

Consider me young and foolish, but I intend to do such a trip next year. Not primarily for naners, but a trip around the Europe would be cool. The question now stands: To which part of the Europe go first? North is cold in summer, East is dangerous unless I speak Russian, so it's south or west. Or I'll have to learn Russian.
What about you Ante, care for some Sochi region visit? Or maybe also Calabria, French riviera, Portugal...

I would avoid south and east in your plaece. For simple reason: cultural differences. I think that U have enough Slavic expireance
Meet other cultures and habbits. I would do so in your position.

Thanks, will try. But I've seen the better part of Europe already, so nothing new to see. Except French Riviera and Andalucia.
I've never been to East...

North is warm and beautiful during summer time, every place else is too hot for me during summer time But can't really say that there would be naners around here.
