How long will it take to fruit in pots? Just getting started. I gave 2 in the ground with one pup I would like to transplant.

I dug up a canna patch and found a tiny one and potted it up for another winter experiment. I've got gobs of these things. I'm thinking about selling some. The best I can find as to what kind they are are Presidential Canna Lilly. I don't know for sure though. I'm going to try growing some from seed too.

Dug up and potted another A'ea'e for sale. A peeper had to be sacrificed in the process. Plant currently fruiting now has 3 pups at various heights and a couple peepers poking out. Have removed 3 from the mat so far.

A bunch of Mysore corm pieces. So far I have 8 potted, and several more to go. If they take and aren't showing any signs of BSV, I'm going to donate them to low income families through the charity that I'm an intern at.

I potted a Nepenthes v.ventrata a huge scary man eating plant that terrifies my neighborhood kids, well not really. That is what everyone thinks about carnivorous plants or at least I did, am I the only one?

This was this morning and overnight it caught a spider and a fly, awesome!

If you look closer you can identify both the fly and the spider being dissolved by the enzymes of the pitcher. Kind of cruel but not really is just nature. The fact is we all have to eat something that was once a living thing. It does not matter if it was Lettuce, Pork, chicken,____ you fill the blank. (watch Discovery Channel for details)

Isn’t that beautiful? I think so.
