![]() If anyone is looking for Variegated Florida rhizomes I've got plenty of extras available.
Prices will vary depending on rhizome size and quantity. Send a PM with the price range you're wanting to stay within and I'll send photos of what's available. Please include the 'ship to' zip code. Variegated banana rhizomes are very easy to grow for anyone that has a good understanding of soil aeration and soil moisture. Here's a small Variegated Florida rhizome I removed and planted on April 22, 24. April 22, 24 4 days later on April 26, 24

![]() On 5/19/24 I removed the two Florida in the previous posts and a leafless nub. I decided against planting the nub because I already had too many Florida so it sat on an outdoor table in full sun for the past month. It produced some leaves so now I'm trying to find it a good home.
$50 or Best Offer - only the first offer per member will be considered. Shipping $15

![]() Sorry to jump in on a for sale thread, but I have a question regarding your pic - When planting nubs, that have a sideways facing shoot emerging - it better - or maybe either would work with proper moisture and air - 1) plant with the nub straight up, and let the shoot straighten itself out with time and growth - or 2) plant with the shoot straight up, meaning the nub is sideways?
To sum it up - is it easier to get shoots, or nubs to handle the "tilt transition"? Thank you! |
