Default Variegated Dwarf

I have this slightly variegated dwarf Pisang Awak banana up for sale.

It doesn't have enough variegation for my wholesale clients to have interest in it but it might be desirable for the hobby market.

If you're looking for a highly variegated dwarf Pisang Awak banana you should keep looking.

If you're looking for a dwarf Pisang Awak banana and variegation doesn't bother you this banana is a good option.

If you're looking for a less costly variegated dwarf Pisang Awak banana to mass propagate with the goal of producing offshoots with more variegation this banana is a very good option.

Practicing mass propagation methods is a useful skill to have because you never know when a normal green banana in your collection will spontaneously produce a variegated offshoot.

The reason my collection of rare variegated bananas continues to expand is firstly because of finding these spontaneously produced variegated offshoots and secondly having the ability to mass propagate them in order to increase their variegation to a desirable level.

Above is the photo of my first variegated Patupi which was produced by an all green Patupi mother plant. I kept this spontaneously produced variegated Patupi for mass propagation and it was the beginning of my collection of variegated Patupi. It's siblings were renamed to Kokopo and sent off to America for tissue culture.

If you're interested in making an offer on this slightly variegated dwarf Pisang Awak banana in the photo below send a PM and include your shipping zip code, US 48 only. Shipping cost $20.

If this plant doesn't find a good home it will be transformed into horse manure.

If you want to examine the variegation more closely the photo can be enlarged by clicking on it twice, first click brings you to it's location in my Photo Gallery and the second click will enlarge the photo.
