You can get it online.. I think its used more for plants and trees.. You want more pups you can just use a liquid root stimulator and they will come up.. :^)

Had a b.org member visit to pick up an Ae Ae pup. Started digging it out off the mat that fruited this year and the corm snapped when I pulled the pup up. Left the lower part of the corm inground with all the roots. This was a big 5 ft pup and I know the digging bar was under the corm and had not cut into it. Excavated a bit to make sure. Had a big mix already made up in the big yard cart to augment planting new fruit trees with lots of good stuff added. Like worm castings, cotton seed meal, azomite, mycorrhizae, kelp, humic acid, etc. So I just stuck the Ae pup with a rootless corm in it and watered. Trimmed off all the leaves except the cigar. Three weeks later, yesterday, pulled it up and found 2 new skinny roots. Very carefully potted the Ae in new sterile special potting mix from Pinders and set it in the shade. Looks like it will make it. If I knew about the gel I bet there would have been more roots than 2. Dan Last edited by bananimal : 01-12-2013 at 06:59 PM. |

Add alittle mychorrhizae to the soil and the plants go .....boom. Good stuff. Rootone powder seems to work well for me also. Actually its all good.....dipping sauce or dipping powder. Last edited by cincinnana : 01-11-2013 at 10:00 PM. |

if you want it to gel ad some glycerine..steep willow branches 24 hrs..filter add dusting of cinnamon..heat for a little while not boil..stir cool and use....for hard to root anything add whole egg in bottom of pot..just place in bottom whole and wait for the roots to go crazy
