I have a couple dozen,couple years old now,in one gallon pots about 18 inches tall,they don't grow any during the winter months.during the summer,have to keep them in dappled shade at least 50%,or there leaves will fry,I know that for a fact,they been outside all summer,then first of September,while I was at work,the rope had rotted and my shade cloth screen came down,don't know how long they were in full sun,but it fried just about all the leaves except for the spear.I have read that 4 years from seed you will see first fruit,don't think that will happen,these are the dwarf variety.
