![]() yeah found that out. but on some sites you can see at Musa acuminata (dwarf cavendish) that they grow edible fruits.

![]() Acuminata is the species banana. Cavendish, ice cream etc are cultivars whose genetics stem from Acuminata and Balbisiana species.
Acuminata fruits may well be edible, but they will have seeds if they are pollinated, otherwise the fruits will not mature, but drop off. |
