Default Free Young Cashews, Sprouted 2020 for pick up in S.FL.

I have a lot of Cashew seedlings Sprouted this Year and they are about 4-5Month old and looking healthy. I got a huge tree from where they fall by the hundreds on the ground every year. I scraped them to the side and there they all sprouted nicely within the old foliage from the Tree.
They are still in the ground and I will put them in Containers when someone is coming to pick them up.
Price- nothing than a donation / tip if any.
location Fort Lauderdale FL.

I would love to get some of those, but I don't think Cashew will survive the winters in zone 8A in south Georgia. .... Do you have the regular or the dwarf cashew???

I don't really know the difference but the original Tree is at least 30 Feet tall, so I guess it is for sure not a dwarf. The Cashew Apple on these are Yellow when ripe. I do't eat any of it as the nut once burned my mouth (lips) once after I probably did't roasted them enough, and the Apple is somewhat to smooshy to be eaten after they lay on the ground. I never tried one from, picked from the Tree.

Yea ... the nuts have to be processed to remove the caustic liquid. It's not hard to do and there are a number of ways. These can be found by googling. The apple is eatable, just remove the nuts from the center as one would do with any other apple.

Your tree is not a dwarf. The new sapping will begin to bare fruit at 3 yrs old (economically at 5 to 6 years old). Dwarf trees grow to about 12 to 15 ft. and will begin baring fruit in 18 months. .... Oh you could mail ($3 or $4 1st class) the fresh nuts to those that want to grow a cashew tree. Just wrap in paper towel and put in a zip lock bag. The fresh nuts are easy to sprout.

I would post more images if it would be possible. but something is taking way too long to upload and then they not getting processed. It only worked twice. My internet is over Fiber optic with the highest speed possible, so no problem here. It is to cumbersome to wait on the refresh of anything I click on here. I do not have this kind of problem in other Forums, even all the way from Europe.
I might not coming back here as I spent now Hours on this to figure out how to post Images and it is not working. I Feel like 1990 here.
I might check in to find out of problems with the bananas but will not post anything again. somehow mot worth the wait.
Thanks.

This forum has a size limit of 5000kb (2000 kb until last year). The upload will show successful but the photo processor will kick it out for being over limit. ... Resize your photos to 4" x 6" paper size with a resolution of 150 to 250 dpi (dots per inch). The 150 dpi will make the 4x6 photo about 150kb to 300 kb which is a good size for the web. I use 150 or 200 dpi .... If you don't have photo software to do this, then try 'Paint.net". It is free full featured, and easy to use. Also keep the image name simple and no spaces. There are a couple of forum rules on that too. Use only gif; jpg; jpeg; pnp name extensions
