Gone (was free plants, pick-up only)
Chong picked these up- thanks to all, and looking forward to hearing what grows best in Atlanta.
{original message below} Hi all- I'm getting ready to move, and can't take my plants with me. I have about 2-3 dozen banana/plantain in pots ranging from 1 gallon size up to maybe 5 gallon? Forum member Coug99 has first dibs but hasn't responded to PM yet, so I'm looking for anyone else in the area that might be interested as backup options. To answer the most likely questions I'd get via PM anyway... * I will not ship- with moving, I have too much else to worry about, this is pick-up only in Monroe WA, and needs to be in the next 2 weeks (the sooner the better) * they are all edible varieties (although none will likely ever produce fruit in this climate) * I used "weather proof" tags last year that turned out not to be weather proof after all, so while I can give a partial list of what I had, I can't tell you which are which * I'd prefer to find someone who has the room and interest to take all (or at least most) of them, so I don't have to spend time on multiple exchanges. * I do have a few other plants also available, a /very/ large and healthy dragonfruit (10g pot?), some night-blooming succulent, and a few small pots of bromiliads and aloe. First dibs go to whoever comes to get all the bananas. Hope someone in this area has the space and interest to come take these! I'm moving to Atlanta, so once I have a new place hopefully I'll start collecting again, and maybe in that climate actually get fruit? Last edited by Capitum : 01-29-2015 at 01:23 AM. Keith,
I'm familiar with your area and can pick them shortly. I just sent you a PM. Hope the plants are still available. Thank you. Chong |

Too bad you couldn't take them to Atlanta with you. They'd be within driving distance for me then!
