![]() My two Musa Basjoos, which I just received and repotted about a week ago, are crawling with these little gnats. Hard to get a good picture since they're so small, but see here:
![]() ![]() Does anyone know what these bugs are, and are they a danger to the plants? If so, how should I get rid of them? The plants look fine and healthy right now. Interestingly, I planted two other bananas (different species) in the same soil at the same time and have been keeping them in a different location and they don't have these bugs. |

![]() They could be termites and you could have disturbed a tube.
Do a termite with wings internet search . Take a photo of some on a white piece of paper foe clarity. You might have noticed them flying about during the day.
