All pictures taken in 03/14/2019.... TC Seedlings keep growing nicely!.....They are getting big, tall!....Most likely some of them will go to the ground this year!...  Two stellar FHIA Nana Varieties were transplanted to the ground, yesterday, 03/14/2019!.....Woohoo!....I'm done, finish with this transplanting Nana line!.....A new transplanting line with very exciting Nana Varieties is next!.... FHIA-17 Kabana!.....  FHIA-18 Bonanza!.....  Dwarf Niño keeps pushing out the flower bud!.....I have no doubts that flower is from an AA Nana Variety!......Hopefully it will positively ID as Dwarf Niño!....   *****An Update is coming soon!*****

All pictures from 03/15/2019..... FHIA-17 Kabana and FHIA-18 Bonanza kept growing after being transplanted to the ground!.....Woohoo!......No signs of transplant shock!....Both of them kept pushing out the new cigar leaf!....I always try to do my best to avoid transplant shock!.... FHIA-17 Kabana....    FHIA-18 Bonanza.....    The SH-3640 mutation/off type clone and Sumatrana X (Gran Nain + Zebrina hybrid) are doing excellent!....Sumatrana X was struggling!...Her 3gal. pot was too big for the size of her rootball!....I transplanted Sumatrana X to a smaller 1.5L pot and she recovered remarkable!...She just took off growing!....Thank you Anke (crazy banana) for sending me very nice Nana Varieties!....Your babies are doing awesome!.... The SH-3640 mutation/off type clone......I will transplant it next/close by the true to type/real SH-3640 to compare them!.....    Musa Sumatrana X is growing nicely now!.....She is pushing out the second leaf since I transplanted her to a smaller 1.5L pot!.....   The little, very tiny (LOL!.....  ) FHIA-3 Sweetheart should be flowering at any time now!.... *****An Update is coming soon!*****

All pictures taken in 03/16/2019..... Woohoo!.....Finally, I received The Maricongo Plantain corm yesterday, 03/16/2019.....Maricongo Plantain corm was wrapped inside of another shipping bag to protect the corm!....  Big Maricongo Plantain corm was wrapped in newspaper!....  I received a nice size Maricongo Plantain corm....     Big Maricongo Plantain corm taking a bath of water with bleach!.....  Big Maricongo Plantain corm was transplanted to a big pot using pool filter silica coarse sand and lots of perlite mix!.....Maricongo Plantain corm was moved to the house balcony to avoid any rain (water)!.....Once it's rooting and starts pushing out new leaves, it will join the rest of The Nanas in pots........     Pictures from The TARS Catalog of The Maricongo Plantain as reference!.....Maricongo Plantain is the number one commercial Plantain Variety in Puerto Rico!.....Also Maricongo Plantain is responsible for a couple of Plantain Varieties mutations!......Common Harton Plantain is a sport mutation of The Maricongo Plantain!.....PR (Common) Dwarf Plantain is a dwarf mutation of The Maricongo Plantain!.....   *****An Update is coming soon!*****

One thing that I would like to mention/clarify is The Maricongo Plantain Variety is a false-horn type Plantain Variety!.....In the TARS Catalog Maricongo Plantain first page in the curator notes (in the General Tab) it says French type bunch!.....Then in the same page if you look/search the bunch phenotype (in the Agronomic Tab) it says false-horn type!.....

Woohooo!....Maricongo Plantain corm started to push out hard already!.... Pictures from today morning, 03/18/2019.....   FHIA-2 Mona Lisa keeps growing nicely!....She just opened a new bigger leaf!.... FHIA-2 Mona Lisa is getting bigger, taller!....Look at her red markings!....Unique in the FHIA-2 Mona Lisa and FHIA-18 Bonanza!....I love her colors!.... Pictures from 03/17/2019....    I successfully performed surgery to The PR (Common) Dwarf Plantain!.....I cut, released the pressure point and immediately all the stock leaves just unfolded by themselves!.....Not even an hour passed by and she just rewarded me back!.....She started to push out the new cigar leaf!.....Amazing!....
