Nope, non seeded edible bananas can only be grown from sucker plants or pups growing out of the rootstock, or by dividing the rootstock as you would a potato and it will grow multiple plants from one rootstock. Seeded bananas can be grown from seeds. The leaves of bananas get old and die off as the plant grows, similar to palms, which you also couldn't grow from leaves.
