Well, the one I had grew 10 pups - 8 variegated and 2 white. I only had one so I can't tell how often. Maybe you were asking how many pups. Regarding 'how often' I would have to say they pup every time, and then the mother plant dies.

Really? You got 10 just from 1 mother plant? Pretty impressive! Yeah I am only hoping to be able to get just one so far! You know, who knows if it will last the winter in my house. Anyway, I only asked b/c I just read somewhere that these don’t pup that often. Which would explain why this is such an expensive variety to buy! You might be lucky if you get one or two once in a while! However, after hearing you’ve had good luck with pups I’m still hopeful! Thanks so much for your help! So fingers crossed!

Just hope it's not a white one; those can't survive on their own because they lack any chlorophyll.

Looking great..your plants look nice and pretty normal for being indoors.
You will need to think about supplemental indoor grow lights soon.

Expect your plants to look very stressed in the coming months
Don't let those leaves touch the wall or they might/will permanently stain them.

Once you get the hang of posting pics there will no stopping.

I love your blow up.....I got one too but it is not a monkey

Thanks! It was very nice of you to say what you thought of the pictures! I didn’t realize that the leaves can stain a wall! Yuck! You’ll be glad to know that as soon as I read your comment I hurried up and moved the plants away from the wall!

Yeah I love my monkey too! I also have another one that is huge too! Granted it looks more like a gorilla! I bought them for me to take pictures of them with all my banana plants outside! I never did get a chance to take some photos of them outside this summer! So I’m glad I was able to show off my monkey with plants on here though! Oh and I also have an blow up banana as well! Maybe I’ll use them all in another photo!

Curios... what does your blow up look like?

I hope you don’t mind me asking but what is your first name? I always thought it was Taryl! It took me a while to realize it meant pterodactyl!

I hate to think that my plants will continue to go downhill.. Oh boy!
