Well I can't wait til spring. Thanks again Brian and I will wait until you get the plants and post some pics. I don't think we need to pressure you into anything. We have all waited for this plant, I am sure we can all wait a little longer. So whatever is the easiest way to make payment and when it is timely for you then let us know. Thanks agian for this wonderful gift.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!
Well friends it is that time of the year. I hope you all are getting prepared. I have just recently been given a few of the saught after bananas Siam Ruby. Which to my suprise was bright yellow in color. They have sense started turing red with age and in brighter light. I am going to auction off these few on ebay. I have been told that more are on their way in the next week or two. So people who have already payed I will be sending yours out first. For those interested in paying now here is how to do it. I have figured that adding it to my website it will make it much easier to keep records and information from everyone. So go to my site at briansbotanicals.net go to the banana section to the right Now the red banana is being sold as DON"T YOU DARE BUY THIS it has my dog Mr Spock in the photo. This will only be up for 2 weeks. please do not tell your friends this offer was only for this group and this group alone!!! DO NOT order more than one (one plant per household). This was part of the deal. As more plants come in I will have them up forsale on the site but probably at higher prices till the market brings them down to this price!!! You are allowed to get other items from my site and add it to this order if you wish. This Offer expires in 2 weeks. Please act fast. I hope they grow well for you all. THANKS |

Paid! Thanx sooo much. Some really cool plants on your site. I'll have to check back when I get more space (e.g. my greenhouse finished).
Again, Thank You!

Re: Post ONLY if getting "Siam Red" from Agri-Starts
Now ... it's formally Xmas!
Good thing this monitor isn't a 2-way thingy - I'd be embarrassing myself mightily right about now (picture Snoopy's happy dance ... w/a big, fool grin!) You're a sweetheart for doing this for the group, pugturd - thanks so much! |

Mine arrived a few days ago , it is fine , I just want a good new leaf to grow in the next couple, of weeks and I know it will be really fine . Snow here in D.C. overnight . I guess I'll be putting plants out for the day when it warms up again in a few days. Aroids I recieved also potted on.
Yes that plant looks like it has frost damage , baby it and it maybe fine. Later Steve

It's here!
Happy me, happy ... happy!
It looks like it had a long trip, but nothing that will keep it from recovering! Postman delivered this AM before I left for work, so all I had time for was a couple smooches (the banana, NOT the postman!) & to put it on the plant rack (grow lights). Just got home & she (yes, SHE ... I can tell! LOL!) has already perked up a lot. Leaves were a bit limp, but they've firmed & lifted up just in this little time under the lights. It's the pale green/yellow in the pitangadiego's pic but w/less damage, and the root system looks healthy. I want to baby her for a few before repotting & giving any direct sunlight, even though I'm anxious to start seeing red. Baby steps ... baby steps! Thanks again, Brian - you've made a fan here! Pugturd is gonna have a good home (my kiddoes have been calling the plant Pugturd since I had to explain why I was laughing when I sent you the PayPal!). Xmas is now complete! Thank you ... thank you - it was a most generous offer & I am appreciative of the way you've handled it (& us!). . |

I am extremely glad the plants are coming in. I shipped them out when it was 80s here and then the cold came in. I plan to replace the one shown that was severly damaged. I hope all of these turn out well I have seen a few mutations already in trays of plants. Some with dark green and lime yellow variegation and other mutations. I am keeping most all of them to see what comes of it. I will post them if their is something new and odd.
