imdocrob: Stick it outside in filtered sun, then gardually out into full sun.
Brian, I received my replacement today, and it looks great! Wonderful job on the packaging, and the Musa is showing some nice red coloration. Thanks a bunch. Frank |

Great to hear. This has been a learning experience for me as well. I think I am finally getting them to look the way I want.

apparently our Siams are rather prolific 'breeders'. Pup #3 is peeking out from under mum's skirts already!

Aroidgrower/Brian - Thought you might not have received this:
Your website's mystery fern ... In case you haven't found the variety name yet, I believe you might have a Nephrolepis pendula - Long John Pendulant Fern. I had one (till it got caught in an unexpected frost while I was out of town) that had to be hung from a tree limb, looonnnng fronds! I plan on making a visit to try to grab one of yours soon, before they are all gone! http://briansbotanicals.net/catalog/...bda49077364fd9 And to keep from being totally OT - the Siam is growing wonderfully, TY again! Living in FL has benefits - stuff grows all year long, BUT we're obviously at the END of the damn POST OFFICE ROUTES. I haven't gotten my replacement Red yet. ARGGGHHHH.
I'm sure it will be well worth the wait though. Terry |

Definitely Mark,
BUT it is weird. I can get a letter to CA in 3 days and sometimes it takes the same to Orlando from West Palm - 2 1/2 hours away. |

Mine is only about 6 inches tall so far and no signs of any red yet. How much longer should I wait? Do the leaves change or does the new leaf have red already on it? Thanx.

D' , The leaves will change, look back through the thread until you find the pics of my plant. It shows the progression from day one!

Mine
took 2.5 weeks to arrive. They leaves are red-tinged, but I'm trying to get the green back into them after their long journey. Very slowly does it right now. |

Okay. Thanx! I guess I'll give it some more time before I start to worry about it. Due to weather I kept mine inside for awhile so it got kind of a late start. It does have some really odd coloring and patterns on it. Kinda cool.
Again I thank you.
