pretty sad, eh? LOL

Oh, I should say, I'm not too envious. I have nearly a full bunch of bananas turning yellow right now. I just ate one and have another 30 that are yellow and Pete was just warning me about getting constipated. I told him I'd take my chances.

Edit: See Banana bunches harvested December 28, 2008 for an update I just posted!

Canstipation???? With bananas??? I've never heard of such a thing. If anything, it's the other way around, from my experience. I have a few friends who signed up to join the Navy, and they ate lots and lots of bananas in order to "make the weight". And after their physical, they had the runs!

A great subject we're on here! I've always heard that eating too many bananas can cause constipation. In fact, I've heard eating bananas is supposed to be a cure for diarrhea.

Here are some pictures of Margarita. I put a Dwarf cavendish next to it, to compare color.

These are from tissue culture. Dwarf Cavendish is an edible, and doesn't have seeds. I don't know about Margarita; I just liked the color.

This is just a bad product of tissue culture, where the plant doesn't get the red color in older age, isn't it?

That's not really much better, Sam. Magarita is a mutation of Siam Ruby and, to date, nobody has seen Siam Ruby fruit. Where would these seeds come from??

Get those kids to poke you with that cattle prod for me! LOL
