Default New owner seeking help

Hello, I am a first time user and also new to banana trees but am obsessing over mine. No stranger to indoor plants but I am wondering if someone could please help me and check out my member gallery. I posted a photo and I feel that one of my leaves has sun burn. I am unsure what is best if I should prune it? It gets 8-10 hours of sun all day but i was bringing it outside at first under possibly scorching sun. I water it when it starts to have little to no moisture... also I am wondering about the bark at the base and if to clip? Thank you so much

If your pics didn't load they may be too large, they need to be 2MB or smaller.

Even if the current leaves did sunburn, new leaves should acclimate to the sun as they push out.

I did not see any photos, but I know that if a leaf is brown and already suffered damage, you cannot nurse it back to health.

It's no problem though because bananas grow so fast.

There are no photos in your gallery. Even if the uploader said it was successful, it doesn't mean it was. ... The problem is file size or the file name. Read the size and name limits stated on the upload page. .... I resize my photos to 300 to 450 kb for web pages. IMO the 5000Kb or 5Mb limit now used by this forum is too big for good web use.

I have had a couple that I probably put in direct sun a little too quickly and initial leaves did get burned somewhat. Later leaves came in good though as it acclimated.
