I am coming over w/ my wife and a friend who is a far more serious gardener than I am, around 10 on Saturday. I've never seen the gardens, after 25 years in Central Florida, and am really looking forward to it!

I just got back from the Leu Gardens sale. Go, if you are nearby. Eric turned out to be a septuagenarians dwarf who laughed maniacally while dragging his knuckles through the soil... or, a pleasant, knowledgeable man of about 30, which isn't nearly as colorful. Don, from Going Bananas was practically giving a clinic as he sold- I bought a red dwarf and an SH 3640 from him. The later is new to me, but he thinks it compares well w/ Goldfinger. He was also selling 6-2-12 fertilizer; does that sound about right for bananas?
Anyway, with 40 vendors it is quite a garden fair. The best part of the day was when I found out my wife had been wandering around without money. I managed to come home w/ only things I wanted to buy...
