Default Kokopo/Patupi from Sow Exotic

Because my self control absolutely sucks when it comes to banana plants...especially after a long gloomy and boring winter--

And because they offered heat packs.

Here we are.

(Or more precisely, here we go again )

They did ship it priority 3-day, and it was packed excellently.

But I have to say I am quite dissapointed with the very small size. I had expected something a bit larger. It's looking "so-so" after its trip, most leaves are dead and the largest leaf has the beginings of death. With it being so small I do worry it will succumb to travel induced root rot. >_<

Nevertheless! I am happy it IS alive. And knew this would be a gamble. Will see how it does

Thanks guys

So far so good! Tough little guy.

Its working on pushing out a new leaf and must have a healthy and large root system because the soil tends to totally dry out the very next day after I water it. So been watering(carefully of course) every day for the most part.

We did have a few nice sunny days in the 60s so it got to sit on my patio. I think that helped alot . Go Patupi Go

Will do photo update when it puts out the new leaf
