![]() That's an awesome deal! I saw a few of these, about the same size, for $30 at Lowes today. What does DB bananas taste like? On the tag, it reads "good for cooking", so I'm assuming it's not that good if we don't cook 'em?

![]() I've not had a chance to taste any yet, but the guy I bought them from said that he grows these exclusively as they do well in the area and he thinks they're the tastiest.
Found this on a random website: Apple, Dwarf (Brazilian): A short, sturdy plant (5-10 ft.). The fruit is shorter and stubbier looking than the Tall Apple. Sweet taste with a slight zing and firm texture. An excellent staple banana. Very common at local markets. |
