on e-bay i ordered 5 fresh musa itinerans/burmese blue seeds. they came from Canada.
they came and i found 4 of the 5 seeds were crushed. the seeds had been crushed by usps sorting machines, i have had this happen before numerous times but not to this extent. i contacted the seller and they got back to me right away, said they would send more seeds. No questions asked. i have to add; when i first opened the package i saw the seeds were gray in color when burmese blue seeds are black, but about the same size. so then i get on their website. they not only have burmese blue and blue java seeds, but musa velutina/pink banana and musa ingens/giant highland banana. i also found plant that i new of, it was a japanese dandelion, pretty. they have many, many exotic plant seeds for sale. worth the look see. here is a picture of a blue java seed. and a 22 caliber bb for comparison.

Thanks for turning me on to this seed seller. They have a lot of really cool stuff. I am definitely interested to find out how you fare with the Blue Java seeds.
Regarding Musa ingens, I hadn't thought about them totally mis-ID'ing the plant and it actually being something other than ingens. However, I did let them know the pics of the bananas (fruits) they are using to represent M. ingens are most certainly incorrect....I'm not the expert, but....... That was a few days ago, we'll see what they say. Keep us posted on those little beasties, I am very curious to see how well they germinate. They claim...."We only sell freshly harvested seeds from small time growers, hobbyists and collectors."....which sounds promising to me.
