This is my first post and I am trying to find out why my emerging leaves are brownish-black. I bought the mother plant about six years ago and have kept several pups. I have always just left the foliage on them in the winter as insulation. I have very mild winters where I live; and every spring I just cut off the dead leaves and I am left with a good sized plant. Last fall, my new Gardner cut them to the ground, and when they came up this year every leaf so far has had a brown, crunchy, tightly curled leaf tip. Any ideas or suggestions of what causes this, or how to remedy it. Thanks! Last edited by VictoriaSue : 05-24-2021 at 10:22 AM. Reason: Add Photo |
