Mysore emerging leaves breaking off
I have about 40 Mysore and a large percentage of them are experiencing breaking of emerging leaves. Various things:
1. I have other varieties of bananas and this issue is NOT occurring in them. 2. We have NOT had heavy winds. 3. The plants appear healthy otherwise. 4. This is the first time I've raised Mysore. I've been very successful with my other varieties. Any ideas? Nutrient deficiency/excess? Some sort of disease? Normal for Mysore? Thank you! |

Re: Mysore emerging leaves breaking off
Is it happening at night? Maybe a owl or something is landing on the plant. Do you see any holes on the leaves from claws poking through?
