Re: Bananas NEVER Cease to AMAZE me!
Not sure.... Some type of haas I think. I got it from my neighbor in the fall. I will graft a scion from the neighbors tree on the this one. Not sure if avocados are true to seed. How's your infamous trailer park avocado? |

Re: Bananas NEVER Cease to AMAZE me!
Did you rent a sod cutter to get rid of all that sod? I have 6 bananas right now and 3 are actively growing pups still smallish and the rest are close. I want to plant bananas in rows throughout my yard and in the back etc but right now it’s all covered in sod.

Re: Bananas NEVER Cease to AMAZE me!
My BIL in West Palm has an avocado tree that makes huge, tasty fruit. Like an Ice Cream avocado. He calls it a Marcus Pumkin. I’ve eaten it and it tastes incredible. I read on a thread from somebody in SF that MP’s don’t taste very good but that has not been my experience.
