Is this a banana plant ?

Hello,
I planted Musa Sikkimensis seed 7 weeks back, just wanted to confirm if this is the banana plant?

Don't know sikimensis, but sure doesn't look like a banana to me.

Not a musa at all, it could take a year for banana seeds to sprout. I had 3 Burmese Blue bananas come up after about 15 months in the growing media.

Doesn't look 'nanner-like. It could be interesting though, might not want to pull it out too soon.

If you reused a mix that you had on hand from another planter/pot it could be a leftover seed or bulb.

There is another couple sprouts coming up also

Yes that is what I think happened since I reused the mix
