Default Red stems, green leaves, fast grower

Thx for helping, I don’t recall the name of this plant from when I bought it earlier this spring in Austin.

I'm not sure which Red you have , may be a Dwarf Red. ... But from the looks of your plant there is a nutrient decedent. ... Appears may be calcium { light yellow & curling upper leaf edges) & sulfur (chlorosis of the lower green leave). ... A complete macro & micro element application may be in order. What type and how much fertilizer are you using?

Because of those two elements, I would check the soil Ph first. I suspect it may be alkaline and the Ph needs to be lowered.

I don't think it is a musa. I think it is Ensete ventricosum

This is enseten ventricosum, possibly Tarranda Red/Red Stripe or some red-petioled variety.

There is no nutrient decedent or anything, the plant looks fine to me.

Kind regards,
Remko.

Looks like Ensete montbeliardii.

An upright Ensete with thicker leaves that are a bit greener without the same wonderful deep red colouring as maurelii on the front ,with a red midrib.

Thanks all! After searching up enseten ventricosum, I do think many of the pictures I see on the web are identical to the plant I have. However, some Ensete montbeliardii pictures also looks similar! Either way I have a really good idea of what it is, and it's hardiness levels.

The plant was put in the ground about 5 months ago and was about 3' tall, it's at least 10' tall now. I'm researching on how to move these big boys between seasons so I can get it in a better spot for next spring.

Thanks again!
