Your pics may be too large, try making them a little smaller.

In my opinion, it looks less like Ae Ae and more like the variegated Thai coming from Malaysia -- the latter has been permeating plant shops around here lately.

To me it looks like Musa Florida. Not AEAE. I can't be 100% It's too small. Also watch the water. I see signs of overwatering.

Be careful!! Both are very picky plants.

I have:
4 AEAE
13 Florida

The Florida and the Manini (aeae) look very different.
Leaf habit and petiole wings.
The Florida often has purple to pink stains on the leaves although it's more difficult to notice when it happens in the green areas.

"Brazilian. The fruit is subacid and of poor quality; it has little to recommend it as a dessert banana, and its acceptance in Hawaii seems to be a good example of the power of need and habit in influencing the demands of a market." - Norman Simmonds - Musa Hall of Fame

Thanks so much. I feel pretty confident it's aeae. It's a little larger now . I bought it from Thailand a few months back. I appreciate your kindness in helping me .
