Default New Member saying "Hello"

Just a quick hello, from me in sunny England.

I have three Dwarf Cavendish plants - all about two years old. Bought from my local supermarket. They are all doing well in the lounge.

A few days ago I planted some acuminata seeds - just in a terracotta pot near the window sill. Do I expect them to grow ? Perhaps I could have given them better starting conditions - we shall see. There should be some hot weather over here soon apparently.

Expecting some itinerans seeds soon too - Burmese Blue.

All great fun !

This is a fantastic website incidentally and I am really glad to be here.

Well, I think I deleted this photo while trying to upload the new one.

I can't remember what to do but the bottom line is that the banana plant was re-potted today and is now taller than I am. 9 months growth.

I have to admit to being kind of sad that I couldn't get the photo thing right. Oh well.
