Default Hardy bananas

Just joined and having a little difficulty maneuvering the site.

I was trying to find which bananas are the most hardy and which ones will come back reliably in the zone 7B

I already have Basjoo and a smaller cultivar with purple bananas called autumn royalty I believe. Both have performed wonderfully in my growing conditions.

I have tried a red trunked banana which died. I tried banana with red splotches on the leaves and it disappeared during the wintertime never came back.

I just bought a small one that is supposed to have a black trunk. Got conflicting reports on the hardiness so I thought I would gamble.

I typed in the word hardy in the search engine and It brought nothing up so I'm not sure what I did wrong. Anyone out there care to give me some suggestions or help.

Thank you very much
Glad the group is here
