Default Re: Survived the winter, but now I have a nasty gopher

I have a home in Santa Barbara and was plagued by gophers for years. I planted everything in wire baskets and use several black holes and have killed many gophers. Make sure you wear gloves when you handle the traps. I covered part of the trap with weeds and really tried to make the trap part of the hole. They have several tunnels so make sure you place traps all around. Urine didn't help when I strattled the holes . Dog and cat feces didn't help either. I have tried everything. In my opinion the black holes are the best. Thankfully, we don't have gophers in Hawaii! Good luck!
