(Thread Break). While we've been having fun with this, to the point of inanity, I'll bet that we could come up with a really interesting short piece of a more serious and higher quality if we really tried. Anyone in for this?

austinl01 10-07-2009 06:27 PM

Re: Story of 3 words...Part II

(Break) I'm in for it, Howard. What do you recommend to do in order to make it better, more serious, and of higher quality?

saltydad 10-07-2009 06:52 PM

Re: Story of 3 words...Part II

I'd like to continue the current one; it's fun and definitely brings a chuckle. But we can start another IF everyone agrees to really try to produce something that makes sense, has some structure and plot (that will develop over time). In other words, let's go for the quality rather than the smile. Sounds like Austin's in; anyone else?

Break --- it's why I didn't post much on the others. Things just didn't make sense so I left. On another note, I'd like to say that I wish the mod who deleted the whole post would have just deleted the insulting parts & gif's that were posted. Good point Howard, at least this one is making some sense!

I REMOVED the thread and will again if it gets out of hand. Was approached by a couple members that were upset with the direction of the thread. I had not read the thread up to that point, but after reading it, I decided to remove it in its entirety due to the content of some of the posts. If you would, please REread #1 of OUR rules before continuing I would appreciate it. Bananas.org Rules
I do not plan on reading this thread unless someone again complains to the admin/mods.
I believe it is not that hard to keep threads clean and fun. Just try to think about someone that has just googled bananas and found this site and saw some of the things that were posted on that thread. If one of my children came across that and showed it to me, I would not let them revisit that site. Call me old fashion, but I think some things are not to be discussed out in the open for the world to see.
If ANYONE does not agree with this, that is fine and I respect that. But, since I have a cetain responsiblity that was asked of me, I will do my best to look out for the good of this site.
Sorry to break in!!!
