First real windy day of fall at my house. Sustained 20 mph with 30 mph gusts. May get windier. Lots of shredded banana leaves.

High today 80F. Chance of rain 9%.

Have to hook up the hose to add water to the pool for the first time in 3 months. Amazing --- first time this happened since moving to Fla. The dry cooler season has started. Time to pick strawberries and eat minneola angelos and goldfingers and go fishing.

Hottest day of the year for us -- 96 at my house right now. Almost no humidity -- down to 8%, normally would be in the 70-90% range at this time of day. Breezy, too.

Clear today/tonight but only a high of 59*, but since the airport is where they report the weather,its cooler there. Maybe lows 60's here.

Fall has been very mild this year in San Diego.Bananas are still looking good and growing.

Most of mine look more like the mat on the left than the one on right -- a bit yellowed. But they are still putting out new blooms. I hope winter is mild, too, so all the bunches hanging make it through in good shape.

Day 3 or 4 in a row with light rain.

Had one day of frost back around 11/9, I believe but no signs of damage from that. A lot more rain this year than last and we're in the middle of a big storm now. Winds have slowed down but rain is coming down hard and yard is flooded. The bananas wish they got this kind of treatment in the summer.

It was good while it last. Cold front comes as of tomorrow here. Anyway it was nice to see bananas growing in November :)
