No, I don't like pants. Long -- that is.

When one moves to south Florida all the winter stuff goes to Goodwill or the trash. No more "cheap hotel" duds.

Visits up north are in summer only. Like snowbirds - in reverse.

Aside from the occasional 40 mph gust of wind which shredded more leaves, we had great weather for bananas yesterday. Felt tropical by our standards: high of 83, low of 56, humid, and a bit of rain. Felt more like August than April.

I had a 1/3 of an inch of rain overnight. Came down steady over a long period so it soaked in well. I'm sure my plants in the ground are very happy with it, although probably very little found its way into my 1100 leafed-out plants in 5 gallon pots. I'll be attending to them today and tomorrow.

Rain is forecast every day for the next few days. I am trying to figure out if the rainy season just started. Accuweather says no, but anything beyond 7 days is not believable.

No heat here today either. "June gloom" all day. We did have some nice sun and warmth this weekend, though it was still too cold for Nick, a high of only 76. :ha:

South Florida today ----- low 80's, breezy. Sunny after 4 days of rain on and off. Bananas, tomatos, chokes are bustin'.
