Literally. Or maybe things are just falling out of the sky.

Me too. Tallest now are PK and FHIA 1. But they are in good locations for added support as reqd -- so no problem.

No kidding. Right now, wind 25 mph with 35 mph gusts. All foliage taller than "wall height" (8') is shredded and there are some bare midribs where the blade has been stripped off. But that's the result of several windy days over the last several months.

I wish there were more dwarf varieties that didn't mind cool weather. Dwarf Namwah, Rajapuri, dwarf Brazilian (which isn't much of a dwarf), and dwarf Orinico seem to be the main ones. Dwarf Mysore and Silk would be nice!

Had moderate frost this morning. I had thought with the storm fronts we've had that we were past that. This is at least my 32nd morning with frost (may have had another day with frost here while I was in Nicaragua last week...definitely no frost there).

I got the nice weather now! Sunny and still. Would be perfect if the tree service wasn't here with chain saws removing the giant Yucca from my front yard.

We were breezy yesterday and last night but nice today. Great weather for spraying more weeds. Also, some stone fruits are blooming so the bees also love the weather.

I think I live on the west coast now....

Or at least it seems like it. Im only 2 blocks away from the ocean where I live and it seems like the hotter it gets inland (80s in areas like Chicago and DC), the colder and especially foggier it gets here (got to 61F today). Right now New Brunswick NJ is 74F and sunny and they are only about 20 miles west of me. Where I live its 52F and foggy. Pretty huge difference!
