Rain here too and 74 deg. And I was in the middle of moving underground sprinkler locations. Pretty good old war movie on TCM though.

The majority of the moisture in that storm passed us and went further south into Mexico (Baja CA). Here the rainfall measured 1/10th of an inch. That's pretty good for a week's watering -- I hope to see more next week.

We got close to a 1/4".
Be nice to get that much once a week.Even with the rain yesterday I saw many lawn sprinklers going this morning when walking the dog.It's so easy to shut off the controller .Even a caveman can do it.

Spring-like weather with lows in the upper 30s and highs in the low 60s. Both of my Texas Star plants (whatever they are) are pushing leaves which is surprising. It's early in the year and our winter has had many cold nights this winter. The banana garden looks pretty wiped out.

Low 70's today for high and low of 60 tonight. Trimmed most of the burned up banana leaves and new cigars are popping on both in-ground and potted naners. Tropic Beauty Peach and Eureka lemon blooming including the blue berries which have set fruit. Come on spring!

Lucky you, ist a storm outside here at the moment, wind, rain even snow in higher elevations. I hope we will get more Spring like weather after weekend. F***n cold blast!

Had very dark clouds earlier but then cleared up but we're supposed to still get more rain. Quite a few days forecast to have rain about a week out.
