Talk about a mild winter this year, we havent had a hard freeze yet and day time temp is 79 till next Saturday.

It's supposed to get down to my neck of the woods early tomorrow morning. And then it is supposed to be dry and nice for several days. Good think, I need to get my stone fruits sprayed and pruned before they put out flowers and I don't want to do that in the rain.

Yeah, wish it would clear up for two weeks instead and warm up, but we sure need snow in the mountains. I was able to see snow in the mountains this morning, maybe 70 miles to the east.

I would appreciate a little snow as it's snowed here twice in my lifetime but I've always missed it. Last year it snowed a little with Linda was home but when I got home 30 minutes later there was no trace of it.

Just a little, though.

One year one of my former employer's clients had greenhouses in Wasco that collapsed when they had 6" of snow. Wasco is sort of like here in that they "never" get snow.

Dude, I hope you aren't fishing the open coast. The surf was pumping today! Biggest I've seen in years. Lifeguards were working hard to keep tourists of the jetties and washed away.

HEAVY rain. I've got standing water in areas of my alfalfa fields now. Too much of a good thing. Think I'll work in the greenhouse later today.

Wow Harvey, you wished for rain its definitely more than you needed. The center of the system is currently right over your house. The outer tail of it managed to eek in down here and we are having light sprinkles.
