Things are really starting to cool down. Night temps are beginning to dip into the high 30s. There is wind almost all the time in my area. My Mysore lost 2 of its 3 leaves to the wind.

Fifth consecutive morning with frost. A few nights ago we had frost by 10pm and yesterday morning's low was 29.4F. :(

79F right now and raining in PSL. Bananas happy. I'm going yada fishing when it clears.

Just returned from a 2 hour trip by car to Orlando. The low at Universal theme park Thurs AM was 46F. Big surprise.

Only slight chance of rain up here but my 101 acres of seedling alfalfa really needs some. And, as Tony said, it would bring warmer temperatures which would also be great.

Edit: my Wunderground banner shows 54F but it's 49F here at 4:18. brrrrr

I don't remember having such cold winters in my area.We've already had 3 or 4 frost.What the hecks going on.

Yeah, same here, I don't remember every having so many consecutive cold days, though we've had much lower temps than this for a few days. It got down to 29.4F the other day while the coldest in the past 20 years was in January 2007 when it got down to 20.4F one day and there was a period of around 48 hours or so where we didn't even get above freezing. Back around 1967 (+/- 2 years) our swimming pool got about a half inch of ice on it and I don't think it's ever been that cold since.

I f I only lived close to the ocean,it's usually a good 10 degrees warmer for a low :08::08:

What are yours average minimum temps. Harvey? Does your bananas allways recover in Spring?
