I think I saw that 'dogman' episode a year ago LOL, kinda like Big Foot.
I peeked under the sunroom & didn't see anything except some styrofoam nailed to the joists is in peices laying on ground....hmmm. I'm just really curious to know what's under there. If it's Dogman, I'll trap it & ship it live to Bob's house. ![]() Hey Dave, I typed in my lic. plate in the parking ticket site & there are no tickets posted to my car ....YEAY.

We've been having trouble with a feral kitten for months and finally caught her in a live trap. She sealed her place here when we saw that our two half blood Great Pyranees were sharing their dog houses with her. She belongs to them now so we've had her in our bathroom and bedroom working on taming her enough to get her spayed. We're sort of there. At least enough for the Vet to accept working on her. Her appt. is on Monday and I'll be so glad when it's over, she's healed and can go back out with her dogs.

So is that like a feral hog only a cat (just a wild version), or is it bigger or smaller than a regular cat?

Domestic houses cats that have gone wild from human neglect. It's a problem out here. Most of the people around here just don't have any regard for animal welfare unless it's livestock that can actually provide food or money for them. Dogs fare a little better but even some of them are either running with or on the outskirts of coyotees around here off and on.

When I moved here we had a lot of stray cats. Maybe they run off from their homes to chase a squirrel & then got lost. One neighbor used to set food out for them & another neighbor had a litter of kittens in a clothes pin bag LOL. Everyone seemed to like them cuz there was no mice or rats anywhere around LOL. I don't know what happened to them...maybe killed off by severe winter & starving or the humane society took them in. I once found a dog sleeping in my yard & tried to be friends w/ it but it was so afraid of humans...maybe abused? I threw food out to it but could not get near it, he would not come near me to get the food. It started getting cold so I called H. society & they set up a live trap & took him to their shelter.
Yeah Shrek, we gotta keep doing something about this squirrel population to SAVE OUR GARDENS!

I here that.. I guess that's why my neighbors are only to happy to see me when I'm on my way out there to nail them, Fuzzy rats :^) I have to look out for the pecans, almonds, raspberries, and other assorted fruit trees. I'm not sharing my bounty w/ some trespassing "lil" turdball; the bounty is for the family & neighbors (friends). :^)

Being tropical we have a rat problem here - and the snakes are our best friends!! Went down to the beach and found someone had killed a sizeable 5ft tree boa - decapitated it! What a shame for such a beautiful and useful snake. Some people have no idea.......

Years ago I heard there was a problem here w/ rats & mice, prolly comming the Milwaukee River just one block away. Soon there was an over abundance of stray cats & they took care of the rats I'm sure. I have never seen one around here.
That's a shame about that snake. If it was attacking someone - maybe, but to kill it & decapitate. Maybe for a trophy?? Get some cats ![]()

Well today is a new low for squirrels.. The wife was chillin' on the back deck with the 2 dogs and pups. When a ruckus arose when a squirrel fell off my bird feeder. The dogs congregated on the subject even the pups the poor raskel luckily made it to, and had a chance to climb a tree, then met his fate as #161 :^)

Yeah no kidding! We were both probably thinking .. "just a bb gun" until I came that close to getting hit in the face and BOY you know it.. I thought about it being possible to have an eye put out too! Off subject but that reminds me of nail guns. I don't like being around those either in case one shanks.

Nail guns are scary! They make them now so you have to push the tip against the wood & then pull trigger...they won't go off if you just pull trigger. I just used one last week.
There was a guy on news 10-20 years ago, he smashed his hand (or something) & was in so much pain that he shot himself in head with about 8 nails from his gun to make the pain in his hand feel better!! It's crazy but true story. They showed xrays of his head w/ the nails in it LOL.
