I also am trying the Topsy Turvy upside down method. Planted a Black Krim and a Brandywine tomato.

I sowed a package of marigold seeds. Half of the seeds are sown in pots, and the other half directly in the ground. Any flowers deer won't eat are welcome in my garden.

Just planted 3 canna tropicana (2 gal) plants. They will get orange flowers. Planted them on the side of one of my drwarf cavendish bananas.
Also planted 12 coleuses as a border on the side side of my house, mixed pink and red plants. I spent the money and bought quart size plants rather than cell packs. they will get bigger much fast that way. Its been a early spring in St Louis, last frost was the 3rd week of March so my plants are a couple weeks ahead of last year.

I've given up on tulips. I wish they would develop a true beautiful perennial tulip.

Hi everyone, I moved a foxtail palm into a larger pot. Potted black elephant ears& reg ones, the remainder of 30 cubanelle peppers and repotted into reg. soil and the second of my ensete started fron seed. Not enough hours in a day. I moved my cactus collection
into the greenhouse. It's too hot in there for anything else to survive. Tomato plants have taken over my garden window. I am starting to feel like I have a real job. My payment is happy plants and veggies all summer. |
