@dalmationsoap: Nice strawberries you got there! What variety are they?

@Snookie: Sweet pumpkinseed sunfish! While in the same family as bluegill, see the red/black dot thing? If I remember correctly it is characteristic of pumpkinseeds. The two are often confused, as both are in the lepomis genus. Either way, what did you catch it on? Its great sized!

We harvested so many AEAE bananas this week that we shared lots with neighbors and friends. in addition, my wife made a great banana cake as well as dessert Bananas Foster! Most enjoyable but still have more left looking for more delicious. Banana treats to come!

Dragon fruit, Dark Star (easy to tell which one was from the sunny side of the plant).


The camera flash does an injustice, made the fins look light green and yellow, they were a bright green.

It's that time folks --- alligator pear time!

These are from the 12 foot high "Lula maybe not so Lula" avocado tree.

Have eaten 4 so far this season. It's just plain great. Taste and texture much more like the West Indian race of cado.

Seven pounds, 12 oz.

Very nice DM. This month I tasted some of those from the tasting table at my rare fruit club. This was the first time I enjoyed DF. Maybe one day I'll plant em.
