My little guy looks like the one in the pic --- am I right?
Fruit ripening outdoors in the shade. Hua Moa cooking banana, Glenn mangos, first hand of Goldfinger, a few Williams and Lychees I think are Mauritius. Note the larger leechee at top of tray, it's a Sweetheart - bigger with smaller seed but no bite to the taste - which I like. |

My photo is of a Malay Rose Apple. They grow very fast so if you want some seeds, let me know.

Not in my garden but in one of my greenhouses.....
Crinum Lily aka poison bulb If anyone can identify the type I would be most greatful. I found the seed in Oahu in 2007. When it started growing no one here could identify it because it was "exotic". It was only when it flowered for the first time 2 years ago that I was able to give it a name. Now the problem is determining which type of crinum it actually is. Thanks! And in case you're wondering, it's about 5ft tall.... |

When we look for beauty in our gardens, we mostly look at flowers, but it is also to be
found elsewhere: Purple Castor Bean New Zealand; two emerging leaves hugging flower buds. Same, single leaf with budding flower stalk New Rubber Tree leaf But since this thread is called “What is blooming in your garden”, I have added... … a water lily,… … a couple of perennial poppies …and a rhododendron

Hi Hazel,
how did you get this bougainvillae to grow this compact? Is it a specific cultivar or did you trim it that way? PS: I see that you are not out rioting, but taking pictures of pretty flowers instead. ![]()
