Just ordered some fresh seeds from Aloha. This yellow fleshed Pap is excellent. Low bearing too! Best one I ever et. No barf flavor!

I remember that the term "low bearing" has caused heated discussions once before with this variety.
My plant had set its first flowers at around 6', but then the temperature dropped to 30F in the early morning hours The plant is wrapped in frost cloth. But even with the Agribon19 cloth the leaves look sad and the flowers were dropped, but the stem looks OK. Hopefully the plant will recover and I will get a chance to enjoy the Waimanalo x77 this summer. What do you all think? Do they easily recover?

You could top the plant and get low new stalks to sprout like the one in PR Giants pic.

It's a dwarf and was never topped. Normally the branches would grow upward not outward.

Here's a taller variety that produced plenty of awesome fruit it's first cycle before switching teams.

Only because it was referred to as a 'dwarf' variety, not 'low bearing' which was the correct description.. At the time mine was at least 10 ft tall.
