Re: Weather forecast
Just got out of a scary week-end here....... LOT, LOT of rain and strong winds . The only good part of the past day has been temperatures with a minimum of 18° celsius ....
Also (as usual) here in Rome's surrounding we got hit only marginally from the storm , compared to northern and southern Italy where there have been also 3 deads from flooding and terraind avalanches.... Next few days should be good with H.P. granting good weather in the mediterranen area.... |
Re: Weather forecast
The rain and the cold stopped here in Greece last Friday. Since then the weather is quiet, sunny, but a bit chilly. But from now on, it's getting warmer every day. Till the end of the week, highs should be around 20 ° C.
Last week, especially on Thursday was a nightmare. We had high rain and floodings. The news reported, that this October was the wettest and coldest in the last decade. I hope November will stay like it has started now. The forecast is calm, sunny and mild for the next week... |

Sunny, but partly cloudy this afternoon, and sitting at 43°C...6°F. At least my beautiberries still look pretty, and will all winter... ![]() Have a great Tuesday, Y'all! :waving: : ) |

Still no frost yet in my area, and the forecast says it will be up to 20°C in the next few days... :)

Nice scenery, mountains always looks great! Are there some forests there or only bushes?
|
Re: Weather forecast
Mostly on the North side. Only few single pines on this side from 500m and above.

Re: Weather forecast
quite warm here, but high winds from the south!
It's soon midnight and we still have 19 -20° C. During the day it was even cooler! Tomorrow's forecast says 24° C and sunny, but still windy! So far November was warmer than October (15.0 vs. 14.6° C mean temperature). And October was 1.6° C colder than average mean temperature and November is now 4.0° C warmer than usually. Forecasts say that the unusually warm weather will continue at least for the next week. So, half of the month is/will be much too warm. If we don't get a sharp drop in the second half of the month, this could become one of the warmest Novembers ever. Anyway, my bananas like it.:08: A few days a go I posted that October 2010 was the wettest in the last decade... |

Re: Weather forecast
Today seems better than last two days ago.....
Temp is still High for November and the big front that has flooded half od Italy is going east.... The forecast says it should rain lighter than yesterday and this is the last day of strong SW winds. Even if it's not an optimal weather the 'nanas can't complain for sure.... |
Re: Weather forecast
Guess where all that rain is now, lol?

For your historical education increase :p and entertaining for others: Expo 2010 Shanghai Animation - Poland YouTube - PARP: Animowana "Historia Polski" Btw. - many historical mistakes in that video. Madziarowie (Hungarians) weren't there in the 9th century, they came later, after the Slavic settlement of the region. Also, 966 was a bad year. :D |

How can that be an Independence celebration day, if you've never been a part of any of those countries and are the most dependant from them right now. Seems very funny. :nanadrink: From the history: Austria, Slovakia, Czech republic, Hungary, Dalmatia and upper Balkan Slavia (The Habsburg Monarchy) was joined by the Polish-Lithuanian Sobieski army... and defeated Muslim Osmans after centuries off their European conquest 50km from where I sit right now. (you can also see the date in the video) Battle of Vienna - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I don't know who was dependent from whom even back then. ;) And who was a joined, naturalized folk, and who was a nation back then. :bananas_b |
Re: Weather forecast
Oh my God! Jack, We disappeared from the map of Europe for 123 years. Have you heard about "Partitions of Poland"
Third Partition of Poland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "Sobieski Relief" was earlier. About Habsburgs Empire After partitions southern territory of Poland became Austrian province "Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria" and its border with Russia was 200m from where I am sitting now:ha: |

EDIT: love your video, it was a great idea, really amazing! Poland would be among the most popular exhibits if they showed only this video. As long as we are in the Shanghai section videos, here's something for the education: (what kind of expert was doing this video is unclear, but there's more black in it than anything else). YouTube - World Expo 2010 Shanghai Slovak Exhibition film And here's the short video about the real Slovak history, well worth seeing. It has several parts, which you can find on the YT sidebar: YouTube - 1942 - Hidden History of Slovakia / Part I. |

But cold and wet front from the West is coming and this spring temperatures are going to change. *http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Przemyśl |
Re: Weather forecast
Still pleaseant and quite weather here, but it's quite warm. We reach up to 20 - 22° C in the day and around 12 - 14° C at night.
Mean temperature in November is still way above normal. Usually it's around 11° C, but the avarage for November so far is 16° C. Still higher than October! But some light rain(showers) and slowly dropping temperatures are forcasted for the next days. |
